Location London, United Kingdom
Salary £80,000 – £90,000

About the Role: A leading international investment and infrastructure group seeks a proactive and hands-on Tax Manager to join its expanding team, supporting a portfolio of early-stage development funds. The role focuses on greenfield real estate and infrastructure projects spanning multiple European jurisdictions. Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver full-spectrum tax support (compliance and advisory) for a portfolio of development-stage investments.

  • Work closely with local finance and legal teams across 200+ companies in five countries, providing day-to-day support and ensuring best practice tax compliance.

  • Lead on transaction tax matters, including structuring and execution of company exits and asset sales over a multi-year mandate.

  • Act as a trusted advisor to local business leads, ensuring alignment on tax strategy and risk management.

  • Support the setup and ongoing tax management of new, unstructured platforms in early-stage investment environments.

About You:

  • Strong transaction tax background (M&A, structuring, advisory) with a willingness to be hands-on and operate in less structured teams.

  • Willingness as well to help with compliance & reporting (high-level overview).

  • Ideally trained in a Big 4 or top-tier accountancy/audit/tax firm, with in-house industry experience a plus.

  • CTA, ACA/ICAS, or legal qualification preferred.

  • Comfortable working across borders and with diverse local teams.

  • Enjoys the challenges of building tax processes in greenfield/early-stage environments.

  • Funds experience would be a plus but not essential.

What’s on Offer:

  • Opportunity to shape the tax function for a growing and innovative investment platform.

  • Involvement in complex, cross-border transactions and strategic exits.

  • Collaborative, international team environment.

  • Competitive salary and benefits with long-term career growth.

Interested candidates with a background in transaction/M&A tax and a passion for early-stage investment environments are encouraged to apply.
