Global Mobility and Employment Tax Specialist

Do you have a solid background in employment tax, global mobility, or payroll and want to apply your skills in an in house environment? We’re looking for a proactive specialist to support cross-border tax and mobility processes for a major US and international organization. About the Role: This is a hands-on, in house position where you’ll collaborate daily with colleagues in Tax, Payroll, Finance, and HR. You’ll help ensure compliance with employment tax and global mobility obligations, support employees on assignment, and contribute to the smooth operation of mobility programs—gaining valuable exposure to the inner workings of a large, complex organization. Key Responsibilities:

  • Support the coordination and compliance of tax reporting for expatriate and relocated employees.

  • Assist with the preparation and review of compensation and payroll data for accurate tax processing.

  • Collaborate with internal teams and external vendors to gather documentation and resolve queries.

  • Help maintain tax and mobility records, and support reconciliations and reporting.

  • Contribute to projects related to reward programs, expense policies, and mobility processes.

  • Stay up to date on employment tax and mobility regulations and best practices.

What We’re Looking For:

  • At least 3 years in employment tax, global mobility, payroll, or a related finance/accounting role.

  • Prior US experience is required.

  • Previous in-house experience is valued, but candidates with practice or consultancy backgrounds looking to move in-house are welcome.

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.

  • Strong attention to detail and willingness to learn.

  • Good communication and teamwork skills.

  • Ability to work onsite in Boston, MA at least two days per week; relocation support is available if needed.

  • You must have the right to work in the USA; no visa sponsorship is available for this position.

Compensation & Benefits:
