Senior Procurement Sourcing DirectorLocation: London Start: Immediate Contract Length: 12 months Sector: Professional Services The Consultancy Group are supporting a global organisation seeking a Senior Sourcing Director to lead strategic sourcing across a complex and high‑value portfolio of Professional Services and Human Resources categories. This is a senior commercial role with global impact, responsible for defining category strategy, leading major negotiations, shaping supplier ecosystems, and delivering enterprise‑wide value creation. This role is accountable for long‑term sourcing strategy across categories such as recruitment, benefits, contract labour, payroll services, consulting, insurance, and advisory services, partnering closely with senior leaders across HR, Finance, Legal, Risk and other business units. Key Responsibilities
Develop and own global sourcing strategy for Professional Services & HR categories
Lead high‑value, complex negotiations and commercial structuring
Build and govern a resilient global supplier portfolio
Partner with senior stakeholders to align sourcing with enterprise objectives
Drive measurable value through cost optimisation, supplier performance, and demand management
Leverage market intelligence, regulatory insight, and emerging delivery models to strengthen category strategy
What We’re Looking For
15+ years’ experience in strategic procurement across global, matrixed organisations
Deep expertise in Professional Services and HR‑related categories
Strong commercial acumen and negotiation leadership
Experience driving both strategic and operational procurement initiatives
Track record in supplier governance, risk mitigation, and SRM programmes
Exceptional communication skills and executive presence
Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across regions
