We are currently partnered with a leading media organisation based in the heart of Central London. The company is currently seeking a talented Finance Analyst to join the team and play a crucial role in shaping the financial future of the organization. As a Finance Analyst, the successful candidate will be an integral part of the Finance team, contributing to the strategic financial decision-making process. They will work closely with non-finance departments to provide valuable financial insights, analysis, and recommendations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct in-depth financial analysis, including budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support decision-making.
- Prepare and present regular financial reports, highlighting key insights and trends to senior management.
- Assist in cost control and optimization efforts, identifying areas for improvement and efficiency gains.
- Analyse financial data to identify risks and opportunities and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Assist in the development of financial forecasts and long-term financial plans.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal policies.
- Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support for special projects as required.
Qualifications:
- Degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- ACA / ACCA / CIMA qualified.
- Proven experience as a Finance Analyst or in a similar role.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Excel.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy.
- The ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
