The Consultancy Group is collaborating with a renowned global manufacturing business headquartered in London, with additional offices across Europe and Singapore. Over the past two decades, the company has pursued an aggressive acquisition strategy, resulting in the accumulation of several independent business entities. The organisation is now embarking on a comprehensive Finance Transformation Programme to integrate these diverse businesses into a cohesive unit. This three-year initiative aims to unify operations by implementing a standardised ERP system, specifically SAP S/4HANA, while streamlining associated processes. To successfully oversee and drive this transformation, we are seeking an experienced and dynamic Finance Transformation Programme Director.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage the end-to-end Finance Transformation Programme, ensuring successful delivery within the defined timeline and budget.
- Develop a comprehensive strategy to integrate independent business units, harmonise processes, and consolidate financial operations onto a unified SAP S/4HANA platform.
- Collaborate closely with senior stakeholders across different business units to define the transformation roadmap, align objectives, and gain buy-in for the programme.
- Design and implement change management strategies to mitigate potential challenges during the transition, ensuring smooth adoption of the new ERP system and processes.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with third-party vendors, consultants, and internal teams to ensure seamless execution of the transformation initiative.
- Monitor programme progress, identify risks and issues, and take proactive steps to address any roadblocks that arise during implementation.
- Provide regular updates to executive leadership on programme status, milestones, risks, and benefits realised.
- Develop and maintain effective communication channels to facilitate information flow between global offices and programme stakeholders.
- Leverage your background in supply chain and consulting to optimize and align supply chain processes with the broader transformation objectives.
Requirements:
- ACA / CIMA / ACCA / CPA Qualified Accountant or equivalent
- Proven track record of successfully leading and delivering large-scale Finance Transformation or ERP implementation programmes within complex global organisations.
- Extensive experience in management consulting, preferably with a focus on finance, supply chain, or business process optimisation.
- Strong background in supply chain management, enabling effective collaboration with cross-functional teams to streamline processes.
- Deep understanding of SAP S/4HANA and ERP systems, along with a demonstrated ability to drive business process standardization and optimization through these platforms.
- Exceptional leadership skills with the ability to inspire and motivate cross-functional teams, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively interact with C-level executives and gain their support for the transformation programme.
