Finance Manager

The Consultancy Group are partnered with a Global Business Services & Hospitality company who are looking to recruit a Finance Manager into their Hospitality segment. This is an exciting time to be joining the business as they continue with their growth plans. The Ideal candidate will be operationally focused with the ability to deliver an efficient control environment and provide useful insight driven reporting by business partnering with operational and finance teams. 

This role will involve working with large sets of data within a fast paced environment so accuracy and deadline deliverables are key. You will also be required to support and influence key operational decisions by taking detailed analysis and presenting to both finance and non-finance teams.  As Finance Manager, you will have 2 direct reports (Assistant Finance Manager & Finance Assistant) with plenty of opportunities to progress through the business.

Role Requirements:

• Producing accurate and timely management accounts with evidence supporting variances in expected results
• Accurate reporting of financial reporting of the contract
• Full balance sheet reconciliation
• Management of the control environment – process & procedures
• Building relationships with Senior Heads of Departments ensuring they understand the financial implications their decisions have
• Demonstrating of understanding contract key drivers through improved reporting
• Ensure profit is made by keeping costs down
• Compile, understand and challenge P&L forecasts and budgets

Successful Candidate:

• Part or fully qualified accountant (ACCA / ACA / CIMA)
• Strong knowledge of SAP
• Used to working in a fast-paced environment
• Strong management accounts experience
• Experience of working with large sets of data
• Ability to keep costs down
• Strong leadership skills
• Hospitality / restaurant / food & beverage experience ideal but not essential
