This role comes with a global remit and responsibility for managing a team of three.
Financial Reporting
- Managing and overseeing the consolidation and group financial close process including the review of key consolidation reconciliations.
- Preparation and review of the monthly management reporting package.
- Preparation and review of the quarterly external reporting package
- Review of deferred tax calculations and preparation of tax rate reconciliation on a group level.
- Responsible for the preparation and review of the key quarterly group reviews including impairment indicator assessment, going concern assessment, litigation update, uncertain tax position.
- Preparation and review of the annual external reporting package
- Overall project management and review of the Annual Report including the preparation of the financial sections.
- Ensuring the timely filing of financial information as required by the regulators.
- Managing and overseeing the training and development of accounting staff across the group in respect of accounting and reporting related developments.
- Preparation of Board material relating to the financial reporting area when required.
- Support around corporate development activities including mergers and acquisitions.

Requirements
- A degree in Accounting or Finance.
- Qualified accountant (preferably a financial accounting focused qualification eg ACA, ACCA, CA, CPA) preferably with a Big-6 firm.
- Previous experience in a multi-national listed environment
- Experience of managing across different cultures and multiple jurisdictions/time zones.
- Experience in either financial controlling, financial audit, financial advisory or management accounting, good knowledge of IFRS and financial and disclosure controls framework.
- A strong technical accounting background paired with analytical skills and excellent commercial acumen.
